10 Cats in Costumes Who Are Plotting Their Revenge

Sure it’s tempting to put an adorable costume on your kitty during Halloween season. Some cats may even tolerate it pretty well. If you have a hairless or rex cat, they might love the extra warmth. But 9 times out of 10 you get a disgruntled feline who is most certainly plotting their revenge. If only they had opposable thumbs. For our sake, it’s probably a good thing that they don’t. These 10 cats are perfect examples of the look you may get before getting torn to ribbons due to costume-induced kitty torture. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

#1 Granny Cat

#2 Ukelele, You Crazy

The look in his eyes says it all. “Why, mommy?” Yes, why indeed. Sure he looks cute, but we can’t promise those big orange eyes aren’t telling a more sinister story. Next time, you wear the little hat mom.

#3 Ciraffe

You’re just asking for trouble when you put a tortie in a costume. Torties are known for their big attitudes and major opinions. The look on this girl’s face is pure “what AM I?” After all, cats don’t even know what giraffes are. Halloween is going to be a very confusing day. We hope she was given lots of treats to compensate.

#4 Beecause

But, what if…BEES? This costume and this face probably inspired that weird “bees?” answer card in Cards Against Humanity. We still don’t know. Why are bees? Beecause.

#5 Furrociousness

A photo posted by Cute Animals! (@cute_fluffy_critters_) on If we told you this costume wasn’t absolutely adorable, we’d be lion. But this little ginger kitty doesn’t look terribly thrilled. In fact, that looks like a feline eye-roll. But he’s being a good sport. Just keep him away from the cat dressed as a giraffe or we might have a problem.

#6 Santa Paws

This cat’s owner is definitely on the naughty list this year. A lump of coal is probably preferable to whatever this cat wants to give you right now. Ho Ho Ho? How about no.

#7 Princess in Pink

Why the angry face on this pretty in pink princess? It’s ok girl, we get it. She’s probably just coming to terms with the fact that she’s playing the part of the princess, when in her head she was a queen. Foolish mistake, human.

#8 Devilish Good Looks

Dressing a kitty up as a little devil might seem like a good idea, but it might also be a little too close to unleashing their mischievous side, especially on a night known for pranks. Trick or treat might just come down to tricks this way. You’d better appease any devil-cats with extra treats, just in case.

#9 Creating a Monster

This Halloween, why not turn your little monster into an actual monster? Because it will make him plot an unhappy revenge, that’s why not. This snap might be the last photo ever taken by this cat owner.

#10 The Butler Did It

You know the cliche about murder mysteries where it was the mysteriously quiet, unassuming butler that no one suspected until they kept getting picked off one by one? Uhh, no…we don’t either. 😉

Happy Halloween from Delightibles!
